Arden, NC · On Lake Julian · 20 min to Asheville
A lakefront 5-bedroom home with a barrel sauna, hot tub, mini golf, arcade, and private theater, set up for families, reunions, and friends who've been meaning to get together.
Reunite on Lake Julian is a 2,861 sq ft lakefront vacation home in Arden, North Carolina, about 20 minutes south of downtown Asheville and 10 minutes from Asheville Regional Airport. It sleeps up to 16 guests in 5 bedrooms (three kings, a queen, and a full-over-full bunk room) plus two sofa beds, with 3 full bathrooms. You'll have a private hot tub, a 4-person barrel sauna, mini golf, a basketball half-court, a game room and arcade, a home theater with 12 recliners, fast Starlink Wi-Fi, and paddleboards and kayaks for the lake. Up to 2 pets are welcome. It's hosted by Superhost Ratna and rated 4.99 out of 5 across 79 guest reviews.

Lakefront on Lake Julian
The house sits right on the water, with lake views from the decks, the bedrooms, and even the sauna. Take the paddleboards, kayaks, and pedal board out on Lake Julian's calm water, cast a line from the bank with the fishing rods we provide, or let the kids feed the ducks. Life jackets for everyone are included.
Swimming isn't allowed in Lake Julian (county park rule). Kayaks and paddleboards are welcome.

Wellness
Our four-person barrel sauna looks right out over Lake Julian. Warm up on a cool mountain morning, then cool off on the deck. Guests mention it in their reviews more than almost anything else.

Wellness
End the day in the hot tub with a drink in hand while the lake goes quiet and the stars come out. It's cleaned and ready for every stay.

Backyard
The backyard does a lot of the entertaining. Play a round on the mini-golf course, start a half-court basketball game, and pull out giant Jenga, cornhole, Connect Four, and croquet while the little ones head for the playset. Grown-ups can watch from the sun loungers with the lake in view.

After dark
When the sun goes down, the best seats are around the fire. The wood-burning firepit sits right by the water with built-in curved seating for the whole group. It's the spot for roasting marshmallows with the kids, making s'mores, and telling stories under the stars. Bring your own firewood (it isn't provided). The fire table on the upper deck is for ambiance only, so please keep the s'mores at the lakeside firepit.

Rainy-day ready
The lower level is a full arcade: pool, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, shuffleboard, arcade machines, and a roll-and-score game, plus a popcorn machine and snack bar. Bad weather is the best excuse to use it.

Movie night
An 85-inch smart TV and twelve reclining seats mean everyone gets a good seat. Bring your streaming logins, make popcorn, and start the movie or a round of Quiplash.

Gather & cook
The open kitchen flows into the living and dining room, with an 8-seat dining table and outdoor dining under the pergola. It comes stocked with full cookware, a rice maker and blender, and a coffee bar with Keurig and Nespresso machines, local coffee, teas, syrups, and creamers.

Nothing to pack but your people
We've stocked the house so you don't have to make a store run on day one. You'll find hotel-quality linens and plush pillows, blackout curtains and sound machines in the bedrooms, robes for the sauna, full toiletries in every bath, and a washer and dryer for longer stays. Heat, A/C, ceiling fans, and an indoor fireplace keep everyone comfortable in any season.

Every generation
This house was set up for multigenerational trips. There's room to spread out and room to gather, with a pack 'n play, high chair, baby gates, kids' dinnerware, books, and toys, plus a work desk in every bedroom for anyone who has to check email.
Where everyone sleeps
Three king suites, a bunk room the kids will fight over, a queen room, and two sofa beds for overflow. This is the question we get most, so here's the full breakdown.

I was originally looking for a fun place to celebrate my niece and nephew's 30th birthday, but it became a time for our family to come together for the first time in 4 years… Thank you for providing a space that brought our family closer together.
Great place to stay right on Lake Julian. Felt right at home the moment we stepped foot inside the house… The sauna, fire pit, and fishing from the bank were especially popular! I'd definitely recommend this place to any family in search of a secluded, quiet getaway in Asheville.
The house was beautiful with so much to do and plenty of space for our family of ten. We enjoyed playing games inside, a movie in the home theater, and kayaking on the lake. When we noticed something in the house missing the host had it delivered right away.
There were so many spots for us to gather all together or break away into our own little spaces. The kitchen was stocked; so well stocked with all types of coffee and all we needed to cook… Loved the sauna, hot tub was clean, house was spotless, amazing pillows.
One of the best Airbnb stays we've had! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so thoughtfully stocked… basketball, mini golf, table tennis, video games, a sauna, hot tub, and games for everyone. It was the perfect place to disconnect and spend quality time together.
Perfect stay for families! There are so many activities and games to explore. Five star activities, cleanliness and owner response. Would definitely recommend!
A great home for a family gathering, lots of activities for kids and adults alike. Easy to get around the Asheville area as well. We enjoyed our stay very much and Ratna was an excellent host!
Great place to stay with a large group. Tons of things to do at the house and very close to great bars, breweries, and restaurants.
Kids paradise! (Adults as well) Place is awesome, right on a lake with all sorts of games for everybody. Has everything you need.

Meet your host
I spent years as a software engineer and traveled widely, staying in more rentals than I can count. After my twins were born, I turned that experience into hosting. I wanted to create the kind of place I'd want my own family to come home to after a day of exploring.
I host by the Sanskrit phrase Atithi Devo Bhava, "the guest is God." In practice that means a spotless house, a kitchen that's actually stocked, quick answers when you need something, and local tips for your trip. My local team is a short drive away if anything comes up.
I named this house Reunite on Lake Julian because of how our guests use it: cousins who haven't seen each other in years, grandparents with grandkids, and old friends picking up where they left off. I'd love to host your next get-together.
